In The Bleak Midwinter, by Embleton

Written by Christina Rossetti, In the Bleak Midwinter dates back to the late 19th century. I never sung this hymn growing up, nor did I ever think I would seriously record a Christmas song. This one's an exception. The melody plays again and again, relentlessly in my head. The lyrics scream God's bigness while simultaneously communicating the depth of his humility. I hope this song hits you like it hit me.

-Kevin Embleton
